Burwood Kmart evacuated after bomb threat
The Burwood One shopping centre has been evacuated with the bomb squad sent into Kmart. Staff and customers were evacuated just before 9.30am from the shopping centre on Burwood Highway.
The Bomb Squad was called to a Westfield shopping centre on Burwood Road in Burwood just before 9.30am.
Police confirmed officers were conducting a “safety check” of the centre’s Kmart store.
