On Saturday 21st July, the Embassy of Belgium was delighted to be represented at the opening of the Gallipoli to Armistice Anzac Memorial in Maryborough (QLD) by Counsellor Olga Cogen and Honorary Consul from Brisbane, Mr Gunther De Graeve.

It was a very special day for the local community which recognised the region’s contribution to WWI and the Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, Queensland Premier, Anastasia Palaszczuk and Director of the Australian War Memorial, Dr Brendan Nelson, were also present to mark the occasion.
