A new Franck Provost hair salon opens in Barangaroo

Who needs an excuse to drink champagne? Certainly not the team at leading European hair salon brand group, Franck Provost Paris, who joined VIP guests, media and clients to ‘officially’ celebrate the opening of its glamorous flagship salon at Sydney’s hottest style destination Barangaroo on Tuesday 30 January.

Franck Provost General Manager Raphaël Véron, along with the Barangaroo salon franchise partners Paul and Libia Pellarini, welcomed the glamorous crowd, including Beauticate founder Sigourney Cantelo, Vogue beauty and health guru Ricky Allen, Le Courrier Australien editor Francois Vantomme, Forbes.com’s Milly Stilinovic, blogger Michelle Ruzzene and Bondi Beauty’s Rebecca Wilkinson and Milly Haddrick, who were transported to Paris for the night amidst a sea of champagne and succulent hors doeuvres from neighbouring eatery Wild Sage.

Many lucky guests took home a host of fabulous prizes from Kérastase Paris, L’Oréal Professionel, Bhave, Natalie Barney Jewellery, Machiavelli Restaurant, Matilda, Valérie Prudon Photography and Evoke Nails & Beauty. And pampering was definitely on the radar for the night, with guests treated to complimentary hair consultations from salon manager Melissa Nanfro and her team plus goodie bags containing a bevy of luxurious hair and beauty goodies from Franck Provost Paris, L’Oréal Professionnel and Kérastase Paris.

Respected Sydney businessman and Franck Provost Barangaroo Franchise Partner Paul Pellarini addressed guests with a heartfelt speech about this new business venture on behalf of himself and wife Libia, who is the Barangaroo salon manager: “Libia is passionate about the hair industry and about Franck Provost in particular, an international luxury brand with more than 600 Salons in 30 countries. It is a salon group she has been raving to me about for many years, so you can imagine our pleasure and excitement when they accepted us as the franchisees for Barangaroo. They can be sure we will do everything to not disappoint Franck Provost on choosing us.”

“Our salon only opened last month, with four excellent stylists and Libia as the hostess and owner, and I can already tell it is going to be very popular with the local residents because many of them have already experienced our five-star service and returned. My wife works in the salon full time – I don’t because I own a number of businesses – but I am just as proud as Libia to be involved with Franck Provost because, since becoming a part of their team, I have come to realise why they are such a successful organisation. They only employ the very best hair stylists and insist on continuous training to maintain their skills and learn new trends. Plus, something that is extremely important to me, they have a fabulous, professional and supportive Head Office that made us feel like we are part of the family right from the start. In fact, I’ve been told, and totally believe, that this is a hallmark of the organisation internationally, a company started in Paris 42 years ago by, of course, Mr Franck Provost, who still heads it and with many members of his family in key positions working in it.”

“Please make sure you try us out, we look forward to welcoming you!”
